First let me say that the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 973 1st Annual Spring Cleaning Sale is an unqualified success.. yayyy! Our fledgling chapter now has raised approximately $800.00 and the sale will not end until 3pm this afternoon. We are hoping that by the end of the day we will have reached our goal of $1000.00. But if not, we now feel that the chapter is on it's feet and can begin to work on things that are necessary for our local vets.
This was one of my many finds over the weekend at the sale. This vintage needlebook has far more needles inside than I would have imagined.
